Nacre is a brand new premium lounge which was launched within Jeddah’s Yachting Port – part of the Formula 1 developments.
DesignLSM were commissioned to implement a concept that encapsulated a laid back but luxurious ambiance for VIP clientele, integrating an opulent and modern style to complement the culture of the Middle East location.
Design inspiration
The aim was to reflect Jeddah’s maritime history with pearl trade into the design of the space creating a destination that feels elegant, sophisticated, and ever-so chic.
From a coral colour palette resembling the tones of a pearl shell, to illuminating and reflective materials as a nod to the wonders of the sea, a world-class guest experience has been curated for this newly established social space.
Design outcome
The flow of feature focal points that channel through the large outdoor terrace to the more intimate interior spaces subtly push the boundaries to entice the well-travelled, elite guests, creating a contemporary and stylish environment they want to return to.
The opulent design, with contrasting fabrics and soft glows through-out, has created a fantastic drinking destination within Jeddah’s developing neighbourhood, creating a space where guests can immerse themselves in a spirited social atmosphere whilst testing out Nacre’s delicious mocktails menu.
