DesignLSM have played an integral role in the evolution of the Gaucho brand following the completion of the Charlotte Street (London) and Glasgow sites. The collaboration has seen our agency produce a fresh concept for the restaurant group – steering away from the masculine black and white cow hide that it had come renowned for. The developed design DNA creates a modern aesthetic that speaks to the locality of each new project as well as highlighting the vibrancy and passion of Argentina’s rich cultural and culinary heritage that Gaucho represents.
The experience
Featuring an integrated stage on top of the central bar, provocative salsa performances and DJ sets bring energy into the space, transporting guests into an immersive Argentine experience.
Gaucho Liverpool not only presents a tantalizing menu but mesmerizing entertainment and excitement throughout the whole night, all within glamorous setting – making it Liverpool’s latest hotspot.
A compelling interior design scheme has been implemented which draws inspiration from the passion-fuelled tango clubs that bring the streets alive at night in Buenos Aires, evoking an urban reflection of the Gaucho DNA. With touches of faded glamour and layering of South American details, the restaurant design injects new life and energy into the historic building, while considered design statements, such as the glowing island bar create an energetic social destination exuding intrigue and exclusivity.
